Hi WPers, I have the remote listed in the title (Fujitsu AR-RAH2E), and it looks like this. Its suddenly (probably because of the cats) been displaying Fahrenheit temperature, instead of the normal celsius.

Next, try the remote again. If the problem persists, check the sensor on the remote. Sometimes, dust or a smudge of dirt covers it and prevents a proper connection to the sensor in the air conditioner. If it applies, thoroughly clean the remote and try it. When doing so, ensure you stand within the sensor’s range.Set the AC to Cooling mode. Set the temperature to 30 degrees Celsius or 86 degrees Fahrenheit. Set the fan speed to Medium. Press and release the SLEEP button on the remote 8 times. This must be done within 8 seconds. After 4 to 7 seconds the display should switch over. If the mode does not change start over at step one and try again. To change the temperature display from Celsius to Fahrenheit: Locate the "Extra Function" and "Confirm/Cancel" buttons on the wireless remote. Press the "Power" button to turn the remote "On". While viewing the LCD display on the wireless remote, tap the "Extra Function" button multiple times until the temperature is displayed in °F.
1. Press the “Mode” button on the remote control to enter the “Mode” menu. 2. Use the up and down arrows to select the “Temperature” option. 3. Press the “OK” button to confirm your selection. 4. Use the up and down arrows to select the desired temperature unit, either Celsius or Fahrenheit. 5.
